The Lamp Creation Process

Watch the creation of a Tiffany reproduction lamp from beginning to end from stained glass artist Tim Jameson.

Leaves being cut and assembled on pattern

The leaves have been individually cut and assembled on the pattern.

Next, the background pieces and bamboo stalks are cut and place on the pattern.

Pieces are then added to the lamp form to determine exact size, visual inspection, and color coordination.

The numbers on the leaves will be removed once the piece is completed. The numbering helps with the location of each leaf on the mold.

Each piece is individually wrapped in copper foil.

The soldering begins

Soldering of the outside is completed, now it's time to take the lamp off the mold...and see how it looks with light inside.
